  My advice to anyone thinking of hiring this boat is - think again. Quite frankly it was one of the worst cases of dishonest advertising imagineable.

  We had a wonderful time because we just enjoyed being together. The boat was absolutely disgraceful. It was advertised as 'absolute luxury' - this it was NOT.

  We stayed on this houseboat last new year's for a week and we had an absolute blast. We are going again this year. We so can't wait

  The best I can say is that the sheets and towels were clean. Upstairs had not been swept ready for our arrival; the table was filthy - I would hate to say when it had last been even wiped over. The shower in one of the ensuites was not attached. The man who saw us on and off the boat even admitted that he was supposed to have fixed it. The couches were so filthy it was quite unpleasant even to think we had to sit on them. One was so bad it had been covered with a blanket. We cleaned the stove before use - I hate to think when it had last had a good clean. There were food crumbs in all the gas elements. The utensils to be used in the BBQ looked so disgusting that we could not even bring ourselves to pick them up. There was no dishsoap to do the dishes - either by hand or for the dishwasher. There was no scourer to clean pots etc. There were no little bars of soap in the ensuites. There was a nail on one of the dining room chairs which was protruding so that one of the guests now has a hole in his pants. The front handrail was corroded and completely split at one place.
